Mr. Levison is of counsel at Choate Herschman, where concentrates his practice on all aspects of civil litigation in state and federal courts. He also serves as the firm's general counsel. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Levison worked in the Chicago office of a large national law firm, brining large law firm experience to the personalized boutique setting. Among other types of litigation, Mr. Levison is well-versed in commercial litigation, professional liability, directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, first party litigation, broker-dealer liability and products liability. He also counsels on response to data breaches and conducts real estate transactional work. Mr. Levison has taken jury trials to verdict, served as first chair for several trials, conducted and defended depositions, led settlement negotiations, and argued dispositive motions. Mr. Levison regularly speaks and writes on current developments in litigation. For instance, he spoke at the 2016 Seventh Circuit Conference on "Overcoming Fears of the Unknown: Stat Court for Federal Practitioners." He also has authored "Supreme Court Ends Tactic of 'Picking Off' Class Representatives" in 2016. He serves on The Decalogue Society of Lawyers' Judicial Evaluation Committee. Mr. Levison is licensed to practice in Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law, in 2003, and holds a BA from Tulane University.
