  Gini was an outstanding student who made the most of every educational opportunity and contributed a great deal to the education of her colleagues. She was and I'm sure still is a natural leader, always eager to take on additional responsibilities, very patient with and supportive of colleagues experiencing difficulty, and full of good suggestions for developing and improving our still-new clinical program. Her problem-solving skills were exemplary and to use a somewhat tired metaphor, she really does know how to think outside the box and stay open to new ideas.
