I hired this lawyer to help me deal with my case after being hit by a car on my bicycle. He made the experience super stress free and easy. If I ever had a question or concern I would call or email and within the same day I'd get a response back from him. He explained how things worked with the insurance companies and what procedures typically took place and made things very transparent and clear to me. I liked how he always kept me up to date and if I hadn't heard from him in awhile he'd email me to let me know what was happening on his end. I would thoroughly recommend Jim to anybody looking for a quality lawyer to help their case.

When something unfortunate happens to you as the result of a large corporations neglect the process can be extremely overwhelming. I quickly learned you need a calm, experienced attorney to guide you through the unfamiliar legal waters and Mr. Hunt is exactly that. This was my first experience with a personal injury case and from start to finish I couldn't have asked for anything more. Mr. Hunt was in constant communication and I never felt out of the loop . As a client I felt my best interests were a priority and my personal opinions were always taken into consideration. We just recently settled my case without having to go to court, which was something I dreaded. I'm extremely pleased with the settlement agreement and Jim's ability to settle the case outside of the courtroom. He was recommended by a family member and now I know why.

Mr. Hunt’s practice focuses on complex commercial and business litigation, consumer fraud litigation, casino and commercial collection law, and bankruptcy fraud matters. He has experience trying cases in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts. Mr. Hunt has significant experience in litigating business disputes, defending against Consumer Fraud Act and fraud lawsuits, and business/partnership breakups. Prior to joining STF&H, Mr. Hunt worked for Latham & Watkins LLP, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the United States, where he was a litigator in the Newark, New Jersey office.
Mr. Hunt was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1999 and is also a member of the New York bar. Mr. Hunt attended Swarthmore College and Seton Hall University School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Nicholas H. Politan, United States District Court, District of New Jersey from 1999-2001. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Atlantic County Bar Association, and is admitted before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
