About

Ms. San Angelo represents Plaintiffs in employment law matters.  She works closely with Ms. Farris to ensure clients receive the firm’s full attention to their needs.  Ms. San Angelo’s expertise includes matters such as discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment and wrongful termination.  Additionally, she performs severance reviews for clients, represents clients at unemployment appeal hearings, and works on workplace restraining orders.
Prior to joining the  Law Offices of Laura J. Farris, Ms. San Angelo was a Certified Legal Intern for the San Diego County Public Defenders Office.  She worked on cases ranging from adult felonies and misdemeanors to juvenile offenses.  She appeared in court on behalf of her clients on pre-trial matters and in settlement negotiations.  Ms. San Angelo advocates for her clients with enthusiasm and is not afraid of the courtroom.  She always has an open ear for her clients, is committed to representing her clients’ best interests, and continually fights for the underdog.
Ms. San Angelo received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona.  Her passion for writing and helping others pushed her to obtain her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.  Ms. San Angelo’s extracurricular activities at California Western included founding a chapter of the American Constitution Society, volunteering for the California Innocence Project, and working as a Professor’s Assistant.  During Ms. San Angelo’s third semester at California Western she worked as a teacher for the Street Law Program.  Ms. San Angelo takes joy in working with children and adolescents.  As a Street Law teacher, Ms. San Angelo taught underprivileged high school students about their basic rights as United States citizens and young adults.  The Street Law program was one of Ms. San Angelo’s highlights as a law student and budding attorney.
When Ms. San Angelo is not working on firm matters, she leads an active lifestyle.   Ms. San Angelo is very close to her family and regularly travels to Arizona to visit them.  In addition to her love of people, Ms. San Angelo loves animals.  She is a pet owner and also volunteers at the Barking Lot, a no-kill dog shelter in San Diego.
