Mike is a fantastic lawyer. The last thing we wanted to do was file Chapter 7. Mike reassured me that I was human. This was especially hard on my wife, yet he always took the time to make us feel comfortable and informed regarding the progress of our case. He did a great job at our hearing and a huge burden has been lifted from our shoulders. I can't recommend him highly enough. Thanks, Mike.

Mr. Cerniglia helped me get a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. From the minute I met with him to the time the case went to trial he answered all of my questions every time I called, I did call a lot. After the case was closed he was still willing to help me with a few situations that came up Mike didn't even charge me for his time. If you are looking a personable lawyer that goes the extra mile for you than Mike Cernaglia is the only choice.

About

“Mike” counsels consumers in the bankruptcy process and represents them at their court hearings in Federal District Court. Mike grew up in Lake Geneva, WI and has a strong family connection to Southeastern WI. Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999, and Hamline University School of Law in 2004. He began his career as a part-time public defender in Southeast Minnesota as a way to help the disenfranchised. Mike began practicing bankruptcy law as a way to help good people make a fresh start when faced with difficult circumstances. Mike practiced bankruptcy law in Minneapolis, MN for eight years before returning to Wisconsin. In addition to bankruptcy experience, Mike has practiced in the areas of real estate law, family law, and social security disability law, which often intersect with bankruptcy. Mike is licensed in Federal District Court, Districts of Minnesota and Wisconsin; Minnesota State Court; and Wisconsin State Court.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his fiance, hiking with his dog, and landscape photography…and of course watching the Packers.
