About

Mom. Estate Planning Attorney. Voracious Lifelong Learner.
I arrived in Park City for my senior year of high school and, like so many, I immediately felt that this was home. I graduated from Park City High (where I met my husband), the University of Utah School of Business (magna cum laude) (when I married my husband), and the University of Utah College of Law.
Like so many of my generation, when we had our first child, Erick (25--Webdesigner), we feel deeply in love.  So much so (and did I mention I am a voracious lifelong learner?) that I had four more children--Tara (23--Writer), Kendra (21--Editor), Jacqueline (19--College Student in Education), and Xavier (15--High School Sophmore, architect).  From the first day, like so many parents around me, we focused on protecting, nurturing, and providing as much opportunity as possible.  And this is why trust and estate planning became my focus--to help parents protect and provide for their families wellbeing during their life, when incapacitated, and after their death.  So I opened Prince Law Office, LLC in 2008.
My clients value my commitment to listening, and to taking the time to provide the information, resources, expertise, counseling, and knowledge they want in order to feel comfortable with the legal process.  Knowing the protection I want for my 5 children and the worries that come with loving each one of them more than life itself, I can’t believe there is any other way to conduct estate planning and protect and provide for the wellbeing of our families.
Professionally: I am a member of WealthCounsel – a nationwide collaboration of trust and estate planning attorneys, and other legal, tax and business professionals.  This collaboration ensures that all my clients get sophisticated, technically up-to-date estate plans.  Additionally, I belong to all estate planning sections of the Utah, California, and American Bar Associations that provide the resources, training, and licensing necessary for an exemplary estate planning law practice.
I am a member of the bar in Utah and California.  I have practiced law with several top boutique law firms as well as with the Utah Attorney General’s Office.  My areas of legal practice have included trust and estate planning, business law, construction law, real estate law, community association law, and litigation.
Community:  I am an active Member of both the Park City High School and the Treasure Mountain Middle School Community Councils.  I have been a member of the Salt Lake Arts Academy Board (former Chair); the West High School Community Council; the ELP/IB Parent Committee (former Chair); as well as various other PTA positions over the years.  The wellbeing of,and opportunities for, all of our children is my greatest passion and reward.
Family: I enjoy spending my time with my husband of 34 years, Seaton (a Park City native), and our five children—laughing, reading, writing, talking, going to the theatre, playing with our menagerie of pets, riding bikes on the wonderful trails in Park City, kayaking, and playing in water.
Recreationally: Our family lives for the Park City summers and vacations on the west coast beaches.  We especially love piling in the van with our trailer loaded with as many kayaks, canoes, rafts, and inner tubes as possible and heading for water (Smith & Morehouse reservoir is a personal favorite).  Our fun is most easily characterized as chaotic exuberance.   The kayaks resonate with our need to be together but not tied down to the insistence of others — all set to the music of our laughter bouncing across the water.
