  When I was going through the process of divorce, I started by talking with five different attorneys. One gave me answers that sounded way too much like exactly what I wanted to hear to be for real; on the other extreme was the one who said (not in so many words) that I was totally screwed. Vicki instead gave me an honest picture of where I stood, and was completely up front about the places where the law was fuzzy. Several times during the process, Vicki's expert knowledge of how divorce proceedings are done in Snohomish County came in handy, a stark contrast to opposing counsel, who seemed to be feeling her way along as she went. Vicki won key concessions early on, which set the tone for the rest of the process. Through every stage, Vicki explained what was going on, what the possible outcomes were, and what her strategy was for ensuring the best outcome for me. Overall I was very satisfied with the work Vicki did and I would not hesitate to recommend her to others.
