  During my 3 years in student government (ASG) at Miami University I had the pleasure of working closely with Andrew. Our senior year as Student Body President I oversaw the workings of the executive branch including the allocation of ASG's nearly $1 million budget. As VP of Student Organizations Andrew was directly responsible for leading a committee of 13 students in allocating approximately $800,000 of ASG's budget to many of Miami's 350 student organizations in 3 funding cycles. The procedures used to fund organizations are at times complex and frustrating for student leaders, but Andrew offered training sessions, guidebooks and routinely answered hundreds of emails and phone calls to ensure that every organization received a fair assessment by his committee of their funding needs. In between funding cycles Andrew worked to educate student organization advisors on policy matters, advised student organizations on university policy to improve events, and recruited talented students to continue his commitment to students helping students. At no time during the year did I have to question Andrew's decisions or performance. When mistakes were made, as is unavoidable, Andrew quickly corrected the problem, but was diligent about keeping me aware of the situations. In all Andrew approached is job with professionalism and hard work without seeking headlines for himself. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone that is looking for a self-reliant, consensus builder with tested skills that produce results.
