About

By the time I was 30, I had tried precedent setting criminal and civil cases. When I opened my own firm, my practice was built on civil litigation cases, and, in particular, personal and business injury matters many on a contingency basis. I was the first lawyer in Boston to take on asbestos cases for clients. Because I did not want this litigation to define my practice, I limited those cases to relatively few - about 300 cases brought to successful conclusion in the 1980's and 1990's - and continued to expand my practice to include securities and business torts, and the selected defense of professionals and corporations.
Cases that I have handled include profit sharing and securities litigation, antitrust, intellectual property litigation, trade secret, unfair competition, interference, whistleblower litigation, environmental litigation, real estate litigation and a full range of contract litigation. I frequently represent technology companies formed by entrepreneurs and venture capital firms.
