Faith is a Nashville native and graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2012. In 2016, she graduated from Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee. While in law school Faith was involved in various activities, including Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team, and The University of Memphis Law Review. Ms. Sanford also was selected as a Pupil in the Leo Bearman Sr. American Inns of Court and received the Ratner and Sugarmon Scholarship.
Faith began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Chancellor JoeDae Jenkins in Chancery Court Part III in 2016. While clerking she started her own Family law blog and volunteered with the Memphis Area Legal Services. In 2018, Ms. Sanford was hired as a law clerk for the Honorable William Campbell in the United States District Court of Middle Tennessee. Faith started as an associate attorney for Rice, Amundsen, & Caperton in November of 2018 and hopes to flourish in the field of family law.
