About

I was born and raised in Berwyn. I was a undergrad at Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, and earned my law degree at Northern Illinois University College of Law. While I was in law school I wanted as much hands on experience as possible. I interned for the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services in the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General the summer after my first year. The summer between my second and third year I received one of the prestigious Peggy Browning Fellowships and spent the summer working for the Chicago News Guild. For this son of a 45 year union member and grandson of an early union organizer, representing workers in Chicago was one of the true high points of my time in law school.  I also spent a semester in NIU's Foreclosure Mediation Clinic, and a year as a Research Assistant for a professor in the area of labor and employment law.

I opened this office because I wanted to represent my own clients my way, following the philosophy that I believe leads to success: hard work, relentless advocacy for my clients, honesty at all times, and representing clients, not cases.
