About Me:
John Obery joined Dave Bell Law in 2013 as an associate attorney. Prior to joining the firm, John attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, John attended Charles F. Brush High School in Lyndhurst before attending the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. At Wooster, John was a four-year member of the varsity football team, and was twice named an all-conference performer at left tackle in addition to being named to the ohiocollegefootball.com "All Ohio" Team in 2009. John remains involved at Wooster, and is a member of the steering committee for the Legal Alumni of Wooster.
John attended Case Western Reserve University Law School in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was elected President of the Environmental Law Society. During law school, John also served as a certified legal intern in the Community Development Division of the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic, where he represented business clients in corporate formation and organizational matters, in addition to negotiating settlements involving real estate transactions.
As an associate at Dave Bell Law, John counsels clients in various matters, including site cleanup activities under Ohio's Voluntary Action Program (VAP), and permit appeals under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program.
A resident of Tremont, John enjoys rooting for the Browns, Cavs and Indians. John also enjoys cooking, and has recently taken to golfing, where his game can only be graciously described as a "work in progress."
