Jon's primary practice is in the area of civil litigation involving mass torts related to defective medical devices & dangerous prescription drugs. Jon also handles class action cases on behalf of individuals and small businesses involving antitrust, data breaches, and consumer protection matters. Additionally, Jon represents individuals in products liability, wrongful death, auto/trucking accidents, consumer protection, insurance fraud, and general personal injury matters.
Jon is currently representing clients nationwide who received defective medical devices such as recalled hip replacements, metal-on-metal hip implants, recalled knee replacements, and synthetic hernia mesh. Jon is also representing clients who suffered serious side effects from numerous prescription drugs.
Jon handles cases not only throughout the State of Alabama, but also throughout the entire Country. He is admitted to practice before the Alabama Supreme Court as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama Association for Justice and American Association for Justice.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and being on the water either boating, skiing, or fishing. He is an avid follower of college and professional football and basketball. Jon is an Eagle Scout and continues to volunteer and support many civic organizations.
