Keith W. Upson represents clients in all Florida Courts of Appeal and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals including inmates in postconviction and habeas proceedings.
Over the last decade, Mr. Upson has represented clients in over 100 direct criminal appeals, postconviction motions, petitions for extraordinary writs, and the appeal of postconviction motions. He has been appointed to serve on the Florida Bar’s Appellate Rules Committee for a 2017-2020 term, and currently serves as co-chair of the Committee's Criminal Law Subcommittee.
Mr. Upson is AV Preeminent rated and is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Stetson University College of Law where he teaches Florida Criminal Appellate Practice and Florida Criminal Procedure.
Mr. Upson graduated from the Tulane School of Law in 1997 where he served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board and was selected to the Order of Barristers.
