For years I wanted to prepare a will. For some reason I was scared to death. maybe it was fear I would die before the Living Will got signed. I liked that I was able to call and speak to someone on the phone. She answered a lot of my questions. When I meet with Linda and her staff they made me feel very much at ease. Giving me lots of information and facts about the law that I had no idea. I feel so much better that my wishes are in a Will. Thanks again to Linda and her staff.

Linda and her staff made the process of drafting a will so easy. She helped guide us through our goals and wishes as a young family to ensure our children would be taken care of and our assets would flow smoothly in the event of a death. It's not the most pleasant subject matter to tackle, and I think most people avoid it out of fear. I cannot recommend them enough. We were able to get a will, trust, power of attorneys, living will...etc all as a flat rate package. No hidden fees, no run-around. Just straight forward, professional guidance. It feels good to have that squared away for our family.

Our wills were probably 20 years old, our children were grown and my Father (who had Alzheimer's for several years) was our executor. Thank heavens for Linda Melancon and her knowledge of the laws of LA. Several years later when my in-laws health started to deteriorate Linda again was called upon for her knowledge of Elder Law. Linda graduated magna cum laude from Mercer University with a double major in businessadministration and history and then attended Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert LawCenter where she graduated with her law degree in 1997.
While in law school, Linda received the Order of the Coif award for graduating in the top 10% ofher class and was a member of the Louisiana Law Review.
