About

Helping protect your legacy!!  From the simple will to the most sophisticated tax plan.
My name is Sasha Klein and I am a partner in the private wealth group at Ward Damon. With over 11 years of experience and a post doctorate degree (LL.M) in tax law, I specialize in counseling individuals and families in personal estate and tax planning matters. I focus on advising clients on structuring their wealth to minimize taxes, often over multiple generations.
I love helping families solve their most sensitive issues.
My experience differs from many estate planning attorneys, because I spent time in-house serving as Fiduciary Counsel for boutique wealth management firms.  Such experience allows me to be sensitive to the Trustee and Fiduciary issues that arise for families. To that end, I provide tailored advice on trustee and family governance structures to preserve business enterprises and manage potentially sensitive family dynamics.
I oversee all of these structures throughout the estate and trust administration process.
In addition to practicing estate/tax planning, I am proud to call myself an author, lecturer and community leader.  I lecturer nationally and am a frequent published author on a range of estate planning, wealth management and tax law topics. I am also very involved in national and state associations, including serving as the current chair of the Digial Property Committee, as well as the Marketing Committee and am current vice-chair of the Generation Skipping Transfer Tax Committee for the Real Property, Trust and Estate Section of the American Bar Association (past vice-chair of the Individual and Fiduciary Income Tax Committee), Chair of the Legislation Committee for the Florida Bankers, and Immediate Past President of the Palm Beach Tax Institute (former Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary).  I am the co-author of “Taking Control: Six Notable Strategies to manage Net Investment Income Tax,” which was awarded the 2014 Excellence in Writing Award from the American Bar Association’s Probate and Property magazine. I have also testified in front of the Florida legislature and interviewed Florida legislators on behalf of the Florida Fiduciary Access to Digital Assets Act, which was enacted July 2016.
As a parent of two young children in Palm Beach County, I volunteer and support a number of civic and charitable organizations to better the community including Leadership Palm Beach County (Class of 2011), Place of Hope, Emerging Leadership Program of the Jewish Federation (Cohort 3), and Jewish Woman's Foundation.
My hobbies include yoga, fitness, nutrition, snowboarding, traveling and spending time with my family.
