About

Ms. Urbon was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. She earned her law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law in 2008. Ms. Urbon began her legal career volunteering for the Washtenaw County Office of the Public Defender Juvenile Abuse and Neglect Section while pursuing a private practice in Family Law. Ms. Urbon brought the skills she learned while advocating on behalf of parents and children involved with the court system to her work with the Detroit Center for Family Advocacy (CFA) when she joined their team in 2013. Ms. Urbon began her career with CFA as a staff attorney and the coordinator of the intern program and later served as the center’s Executive Director. She joined Pernas Urbon Law in September 2018. Ms. Urbon serves as the firms expert in family and child welfare law and is a passionate and zealous advocate for her clients.
