About

William is an SMU Dedman School of Law graduate. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November 2016. His experience is in personal injury litigation, criminal defense, DTPA, commercial litigation, corporate litigation, family law, estate administration and probate, and both civil and criminal appeals.
Upon graduation, William was one of ten 2016 SMU graduates inducted into the Order of Barristers. He wrote onto the SMU Law Review Association, where his case note was selected as a semi-finalist. He was a Vice-Chair on the Board of Advocates, Best Orator at the 2014 Howey & Sweeny Moot Court Competition, and his Fall 2014 Mock Trial team won the Dallas Regional of the ABA Labor & Employment Mock Trial Competition, and went on to compete at Nationals.
Prior to graduation he interned for several Texas Courts. Justice Michael Willson, Eastland Court of Appeals; Dennis Michael Lynn, United States Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Texas, and as a pool intern to the County Courts at Law in Collin County, Texas.
William is a libertarian, lectures part-time at Collin College, teaching government, and enjoys judging mock trial and moot court competitions in his free time. His favorite lesiure activities include the gun range, watching cowboys games, playing board and card games, and listening to books on Audible.
