M. Renae Whitsitt has been part of the Wynne Law Firm since November 2011, after graduating from Texas Wesleyan School of Law with her Juris Doctorate in May 2011. While in law school, Renae served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Board of Advocates, was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and was involved with the Texas and Estate Planning Organization, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, and the Wesleyan Innocence Project. Renae received her undergraduate degree - with a double-major in English and Political Science - from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2008. During her undergraduate years, Renae was a member of the SFA Moot Court Team, and actively competed in Texas Undergraduate Moot Court Association competitions. She also earned the Texas Wesleyan Estate Planning Certificate.A native of Granbury, Texas, Renae's legal focus includes family law, probate and estate planning, and social security disability. "Everyone's applying for social security right now, and most people get denied on their first applications," she explains. "I'm here to help my clients through the process of appealing those rejection letters, because it usually takes a few tries. But I'm incredibly persistent on behalf of all my clients, and I work hard to see that they get what they're entitled to."
Renae is an active member of the Acton Baptist Church in Granbury, where she serves as a member of the Pastor Search Committee, a Sunday school teacher for the college / young professional class, and sings in the choir. She is also a State Bar of Texas College Member.
