My Firm focuses on family law and divorce cases. I have been practicing law since 1998. I graduated from University of Michiagan in 1993, and graduated from Seton Hall Law School in 1996. I thoroughly understand the compications of family law, and try my level best to keep my clients fully informed and educated about the process. The corner stone of my practice is communication. All my clients have my pesonal cell phone, and can reach me at ANYTIME. I have represented NFl players, business owners, and regular families going through the complicated process of divorce, child custody and timesharing. My Background: As a Former Major Crimes prosecutor I began my legal career in the area of Criminal Law as a staff attorney for Capital Collateral Representative (CCR), representing death row inmates. In 1998 while working for CCR I argued before The Florida Supreme Court.
In 2001, I accepted an appointment as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Hillsborough County. As a well-respected Trial Prosecutor in Tampa, I rose to the ranks of Lead Trial Attorney where I handled and disposed of thousands of felony criminal cases with offenses ranging from DUI to first degree murder. While at the State Attorney’s Office I handled one of the first feticide cases which resulted in a Trial. The case aired nationally, and I was interviewed several times on Court T.V.
In 2004, I moved to Michigan and accepted an appointment as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Wayne County (Detroit). In Detroit I earned a reputation as a hard working, aggressive yet fair trial prosecutor. In Detroit I tried 100′s of cases and handled 1000’s of felony cases ranging from first degree homicides, armed robberies to drug trafficking.
In 2006, I accepted an appointment with the Michigan Department of Attorney General. At the Attorney General’s Office I worked in the prestigious Major Crimes Bureau as a Senior Attorney handling complicated Criminal cases ranging from Cold Murder Cases, to prosecuting violent gangs in Detroit to complicated Racketeering (RICO) cases. While at the Attorney General’s Office I was on a special task force unit where I worked alongside Federal Prosecutors and Federal Law Enforcement agencies prosecuting Environmental Law violators and specialized in high value complex White Collar and financial crimes cases.
After moving back to Tampa I established my own firm, Legal Advocate Group P.A., and have taken on Family Law as an additional passion and focus. I strive to get the best outcomes for my clients and their families during their difficult times.
