About

Mari Bandoma Callado is an associate attorney at The Dolan Law Firm. Her practice focuses on employment litigation, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. She also represents individuals injured and families of loved ones who have died due to the fault of others, including in elder abuse and neglect lawsuits.
In 2017, Mari was selected as a "Rising Star" in the Northern California edition of SuperLawyers magazine, a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This distinction is based on a peer review process and is awarded to only the top 2.5% of attorneys under age 40 or in practice for less than 10 years.
Prior to joining The Dolan Law Firm, Mari represented clients in complex litigation and employment matters. She has represented employees in wage and hour claims, including minimum wage violations, overtime, meal and rest breaks, and classification of employees as exempt and non-exempt. She also worked as a research attorney for the Honorable Judge Stuart Hing in the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda.
Mari completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Ethnic Studies and a minor in Education. She received her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law where she was recognized for her Pro Bono work and served on the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal.  During law school, she externed for administrative law judges at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and Merit Systems Protection Board.
Mari has served on the Board of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California since 2013.  She also serves on the Barristers' Committee of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Diversity Committee of the Consumer Attorneys of California and regularly volunteers at the Legal Aid at Work's Workers' Rights Clinic.
